    Lake Powell
is a popular destination for boating and week-long houseboat trips, along numerous canyons of the
    Colorado River
    and by
    Rainbow Bridge
. It is named after John W. Powell who led 1869 Powell Geographic Expedition through the area and (downstream) included a first ever passage of the Grand Canyon.

    Lone Rock
is a camping area just a mile into Utah.

    Wahweap
offers great views of the lake and boats that come and go.
